As cancer involves serious risks and brings about high costs and many sufferings, its prevention is of great importance.
Therefore, cancer preventive measures are among Rahe Aseman Foundation’s main goals and programs.
To achieve this goal, by forming an Education and Prevention Committee under the Health Management Department, teams of experienced educators – such as physicians, psychologists, experts, nutritionists, and midwives - have been organized to educate the target groups.
Target groups include students, the elderly and retirees, executive personnel, industry workers & staff, religious associations, and other social strata.

nuclear medicine
Since early detection of cancer is the most important factor in the effectiveness and success of its treatment, and on the other hand imaging equipment is an indispensable facility in this sector, therefore, as the first step to provide diagnostic services, Rahe Aseman Foundation has purchased, equipped, put into operation, and is managing one of the most advanced nuclear medicine centers in the country.
At this center, which has been launched by benevolent people, the entire imaging services are performed with the aid of radiopharmaceuticals, and all the diagnostic services are offered to cancer patients free of charge.
